When handling or installing batteries care must be taken to employ the appropriate proceedures and care. Batteries contain great amounts of stored energy which may lead to Leaking acid and Explosion if not handled and utilised the the correct manner. Shorting the terminals or reversig the polarity when connecting your device will have a dangerous effect.
Batteries are the source of your Backup, Standby or Solar System. Determining your requirements with respect to the amount and type of batteries is an important element which will relate to the Service Life, Cycle Life and in general the Battery as well as theOperation and reliability of your system or Appliction.
Battery discharge times and Cycle Life are given in the respective batteries discharge tables and data sheet. Always ensure the most appropriate products are being used, based on your Power Requirements for the relevant Discharge time and Cycle Life required of your Application. Varying temperatures, Modes of Operation, Discharge percentage and Storage will effect the perfomance of the battery and ability to deliver on your requirements.
